How to Add A Layout, Widgets And A Playlist To Your Blogger Account

Would you like to have an awesome looking blog, but don't know how? All you have to do is follow these instructions and you can add a very nice layout, music (playlist), and other widgets (calendars, etc). These instructions are for www.blogger.com, but I think they can be adapted for other blog sites.

Things You’ll Need:

• Computer
• Internet Connection
• Blog acct. (Blogger is the most popular now).
• Google Search for blog layouts, and for the widgets you want to add.
• Myflashfetish.com account for a mp3 player and music to add to your blog. Or an account with Playlist.com

1. After you have found the perfect layout for your blog, save it to your desk top and log into your blog account.
2. Click on the layout tab. Click on edit html. Click on download Full Template to make a back up of your blog so you don't loose anything.
3. Then click the browse button and find the template you saved to your desktop then upload to your blog. It may ask you about deleting widgets, click confirm and save.
4. To add music after you have your music player/playlist go to Layouts>Page Elements. Click on add page element. Click to add HTML element, now you can put the music on the side like I did mine, or you can add it to the bottom of the page. If you put it on the side, you will need to make the width of any player 250px just go in the coding and change the width every where you see a place for a width size.
5. To add calendars, clocks, countdowns, banners, traffic counters, etc.
   You do this the same way you did the music. Just click on add page element add HTML, insert code and save.
6. Here is how my blog looks with music and a widget. Make sure you view the blog to make sure everything is how you like it. You can move the page elements up and down, so don't be afraid to move anything around or add anything to your blog to make it more personal and fun.

Tips & Warnings

• Search other people's blogs and see what they have on them. You'd be surprise of how much stuff there is to make your blog look great!
• Get an entrecard drop from http://www.entrecard.com This is a good way to get traffic to your blog.
