Tips & Warnings
  • Joomla's Events Calendar lets you create entries under different event categories. These may be either one-off or repeating events.
  • There are different types of other calendar modules you can use for Joomla. "Attend Events" provides a system for managing event registrations on your website: 1) Events List--More of an itemized list of important events than a calendar, 2) EventCal--Shares many features of the Events Calendar including an interactive calendar of important events. Also features several calendar layouts that can be viewed by day, week or by month, 3) GCalendar--developed by Google, this module displays important events, latest events and upcoming events and 4. GigCalender--a great module for an event coordinator. For example, touring band can map out touring dates, providing fans with an accessible schedule of upcoming performances.
