Whether you’ve been collecting action figures since childhood or recently started a collection, chances are you aren’t able to put every figure in your collection on display in your home. Fortunately, storing an action figure collection is a simple project that can be completed in a short time.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Plastic or archival storage bins
  • Display cases (optional)
  • Labels
  • Computer
  • Printer
  1. Step 1

Keep your action figures in the original boxes they were sold in to preserve their value. Place any action figures that don’t have boxes in display cases to protect them from damage.

  2. Step 2

Group your action figures by type, organizing them by television shows, movies, comic books and other genres.

  3. Step 3

Place each grouping of action figures into a storage bin, being careful to place heavier figures at the bottom. Try not to stack too many on top of one another to prevent the boxes from being damaged.

  4. Step 4

Type up labels for each storage bin on your computer, print them out then attach them to the appropriate bin.

  5. Step 5

Store the bins in a climate controlled area of your house.

Tips & Warnings
  • Avoid storing your action figures in the garage, attic or other area of the house that is subject to extreme hot and cold temperatures.
