Company on it's way? House a mess? It may not be perfect but it can be presentable before they get here.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 20 Minutes
  • Large box
  • An empty dishwasher
  1. Step 1

First grab all the dirty plated, glasses and utensils from the house. Load them into the already emptied dishwasher.

  2. Step 2

Next grab a large box. Go to each room and put items into the box that do not belong in the room.

  3. Step 3

Your clutter is now contained in the large box. If you still have some time before company comes you can start to put away the items in the box.

  4. Step 4

If your guests have arrived simply stash the box in a closet out of sight to be dealt with later!

Tips & Warnings
  • If you have an extra few minutes quickly wipe down counters and table. Hang up jackets that may be thrown on couch or backs of chairs.
  • This will not clean your house but make it so you're not completely embarrassed to let people in.
  • Don't forget to put away the items if you stash the box. You don't want to spend the next two weeks looking for mate to your favorite sock.
