1. Step one: Make sure your in the haunted room. Wait until it is fully daylight out.
2. Step Two: Open the window wide and let the spirit know that he/she can go to the light. That their loved ones are waiting for them their.
3. Step Three: Leave the room and wait. They usually only need to be told once. Repeat if necessary.
