Ever have that awkward situation with people? Like when you don't really know someone, but are forced to hang out with them for a day? Or, when on the phone, you get in a small fight, or just stop talking, which leads the conversation to occasional breaths? If so, then read this.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Confidence
  • Good excuses
Step1
So when an awkward situation happens in person, watch TV, go on the computer, call a friend you both know and invite them to hang out with you, go out to a restaurant, OR go to a place surrounded by many people.
Step2
When on the phone, start coughing and say you have to go, pretend your Mom/Dad is on the other line, "accidentally" drop the phone and hang up, give hints ex./ "Oh so you better get back to work..." OR "Well I better get going..."
Step3
When hanging out in person, if none of your other friends can hang out, there absolutely nothing on TV, the computer gets boring and/or the other person is over it, you don't have money to go to a restaurant, then make up an excuse that you have to leave as in ex./ "Oh you know what, I just remembered I have to get home and go to the doctor" OR fake a phone calling that is "Urgent" and say you must go.
Step4
When on the phone, if coughing, pretending your Mom/Dad are on the other line, "accidentally" dropping it, or giving hints doesn't work, here's what you do: say, "You know what, I have to go so bye." Then hang up really fast, and if they call back be like, "Sorry, but can we please talk later, this is important." Then hang up again.

Tips & Warnings

  • You MUST be a good lier.
  • People might know you're lying.
