This part goes over some basic Kabbalistic beliefs. This is broken up into parts as Kabbalah is a huge belief system and it would be impossible to include them all in one how-to.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
A first basic concept of Kabbalah is to understand basic notions of protection to do with it. One must protect oneself from what is called the Evil Eye. This may cause misfortune or unhappiness to a person and may be caused by boasting about things such as your children.
Step2
There is a verbal method which in English means--"may there be no evil eye" and saying something like per, per, per. This is used when people are praising you.
Step3
Another method is to go by colors to wear. Kabbalists prefer the colors blue or red. A blue bead sewn into a garment or a red piece of wool tied around the wrist is said to ward off the Evil Eye.
Step4
Also charms such as a hamsa, Star of David, fish amulet, chai, amulet and more may be obtained to ward off the effects of the Evil Eye.
Step5
A common ordinary household staple, the safety pin, may be carried in a wallet to ward off demons.
Step6
It is also recommended to know the words of the Shema (Deuteronomy 6:4-9) in original Hebrew to ward off any problems with the Evil Eye.

Tips & Warnings

  • The Evil Eye is either from someone who is jealous and spiteful or an evil force/demons.
  • If there are still bad troubles in your life, check into someone who can help you further.
