Research budgets of events of your type so you have an idea of the costs involved.
Step2
Get several bids and references from each vendor before making your final selection.
Step3
Create an Excel document for your budget.
Step4
Be certain to plug in each and every purchase into your budget so that at any given time you know what you have spent.
Step5
Update the budget with new details and information often.
Step6
Keep copies of each receipt and invoice for every purchase made in a file for budget comparison.
