How to Select Vendors for an Event

When planning an event, selecting the right vendors is crucial. You need vendors for just about everything including food, beverages, linen and photography.

1. Get a few bids from at least two different vendors for each need. With the bids you can compare the prices and what each wants to offer.

2. Thoroughly research other projects that each vendor has worked on the see if they have worked with the type of event that you are hosting.

3. Get references for each vendor so that you can call and speak to their past clients to evaluate their performance.

4. Pick the best vendor based on price and deliverables.
