How to load a handgun

For use before and during your shooting range practice, or that moviestyle gunfight.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• hands
• gun to practice with
• ammo
• shooting range

1. As always, never aim a firearm at anything you don't want to destroy. Always be very safe.

2. Press rounds into the magazine. Hold the magazine with one hand and use your thumb to press down each round as you slide the next in.

3. When full, slide the magazine into the bottom of the gun.

4. When the magazine is firmly seated, grab the slide and pull it back all the way, then release.

5. Assuming you have fired all rounds, and have a spare magazine already loaded you can reload again. The slide will lock back when out of ammo.

6. Press the magazine release button and remove the empty magazine.

7. Slide in the new magazine.

8. Press the slide lock to release the slide.

• Practicing this is great for self defense practice.
• Always practice safety with firearms.
• When at a range, follow all rules
