This article will help guide you on how to have a positive day. It's easier for all of us to have a negative attitude versus a positive. Having a positive attitude is all in how you approach it.

Things You'll Need:

  • An open mind
  • Willingness
  1. Step 1

The first thing you want to do when you wake up in the morning is have it in your head that you are going to have a positive and productive day. If you reflect on the negative, you are already at a loss for a positive day. Your day will already be in the dumps.

  2. Step 2

As you start your day you may start to gripe and complain about what has to be done that day. Instead of approaching it that way change your words to positive say, "I am happy that I have a job and I am thankful that I am going to have a good day." Instead of saying "I'm crabby today, say I am happy today." If you always say that you're tired, you will be tired. You have to make yourself believe what you're saying.

  3. Step 3

As you are going through your day make sure to be thankful for everything you have. This will keep your positive attitude up. Play happy music to enforce the attitude you are trying to achieve. If you play sad, mellow, and dramatic music, it will affect your mood negatively.

  4. Step 4

As you end your day, you should feel great about it. You're spirits will still be up and you will feel so good inside as you achieved that positive attitude throughout the day. We can all do this if we really try. I have done this and it really works!

Tips & Warnings
  • You can do this, but you have to be willing to give it a try.
