Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer with Internet Access
  • Refreshments
  • Costumes
  • Party decorations
  1. Step 1

Ask party attendees to dress up like their favorite old Hollywood star and have everyone take turns guessing who he or she is supposed to be.

  2. Step 2

Decorating for this glamorous affair may be half the fun! Roll out a red carpet for guests to enter the party on and hang pictures of old Hollywood icons, such as Clark Gable, Bette Davis and Jean Harlow. Scour second-hand stores and antique shops for feather boas, vintage doilies and beautiful plates and glassware. Use candles and low lighting for ambiance.

  3. Step 3

Don't forget the music! The voices of crooners like Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin will play an integral part in setting the right mood. Throw some Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald in the mix and put on some Ragtime and Jazz to get everyone dancing.

  4. Step 4

Have films from Hollywood's Golden Era playing continuously throughout the evening, so that your guest know who to emulate. You can't go wrong with classics like "Casablanca" and "Dinner at Eight."
