So you want to know how to romance your woman? Well my first thoughts would be to ask her what she wants. But if you are unsure and don’t know how to approach her, well than you have come to the right place. I am no expert, but I am a women. I am sure that I am breaking some unspoken rules by revealing the secret to women but here I go. After years of wondering what was wrong with me, wondering why my husband didn’t seem interested in me anymore. Wondering how I could change our marriage around and even talking to him about it and getting the response, “I didn’t even know there was something wrong.” Well guess what buddy, the fact that you only look in my direction when I beg and scheme to get you to notice me tells me that there is something wrong. And ladies, that myth that guys want sex all the time is just that, a myth!! Sure the first few years of marriage are bliss; he will make love to you several times a week. Treat you like a prize and want to show you off to his friends and by you things to make sure you are happy. But as the years roll by, he knows he has you. He doesn’t think he has to show you off because everyone knows he is stuck with that old ball and chain. Sex becomes more like once or twice a month and that just happens to be when you are ready to go at it all the time!! Guys; now is when you should be showing her off, telling everyone, “look how good my wife still is, we are so happy and she is wonderful, I am very lucky to have her.”

1. Women LOVE to be romanced!!! And in case you didn’t know it there are actually manuals and informational movies on how to romance women! Yep that is right, you can go to almost any store and find them to, you don’t have to search online or research it in the library, in fact, you probably already own many of these wondrous tools. They are called “chick flicks” and “romance novels”. Yes you could take several notes while watching these movies and get great brownie points with your girl by trying some of them on her. A women would love to be asked to dance right there in your kitchen or living room, she would love to come home from a busy day at work and find out that you have made plans to feed the kids early and put them to bed and then have a quiet romantic dinner for the two of you. Yes it can happen even at home and without spending anything. And by the way, a romantic dinner doesn’t have to be a 10 course meal and you slaved over all day long. Some candle light, nice music and a pizza would set the mood instantly! In fact, the more original your idea and the less money you spend the better. Take her on a picnic in the park or the mountains, just the two of you. Find your local “make out” spot and take her there. If you have been married as long as I have, you would be very surprised at how fun that would be to her. Make her feel like a young teenager again.
2. Now that does not mean don’t ever spend any money on her. Women love to be pampered and treated like a princess every once in a while. She loves jewelry, perfume, flowers and candy. Now you are thinking that flowers and candy are a waste of money because they are dead or eaten within a few days and forgotten just as soon. Well you might forget about them but any woman that has received flowers from a loved one remembers them forever. I haven’t gotten to many flowers in my life, in fact, as a teenager my parents were sent a dozen roses from a car dealership for buying a car, and just to imagine what it might feel like to get flowers I stole them and kept them in my room. My husband used to walk in the door with a flower after work every once in awhile and I would melt! Again those days are long gone. And I am left wondering what is wrong with me. So yes, guy’s women love flowers! They love to put them out where other people can see them so they can brag to other depressed women about how much their man loves them! Jewelry is that much better because they can wear it forever! Then when someone says, “that necklace is beautiful, where did you get it?” She can say,” My husband gave it to me.” And again you get the kudos and the praise!! And if you are wanting to one up your buddy, get your girl something fun, no doubt she will run to her friends and say. “Look at what my husband just gave me, isn’t he wonderful?!” and your buddy is left looking like a fool because he didn’t think of it first.
3. So now let’s talk about the bedroom stuff shall we. Women don’t want just sex. They want to be caressed, made to feel beautiful. When people talk about foreplay that doesn’t mean grope her for a minute climb on top and be done as soon as you can. Come on, this isn’t a race guys. Yes that might be good enough for you, you might get your fill with just that, but women want to be turned on. Spend time making her feel good, I grantee that the better she feels, the better you will feel later. In and out and done with the job leaves her feeling unsatisfied, unwanted, and frustrated. Is that how you want the women you love to feel after you have just made love to her? I didn’t think so. So the corny notes throughout the house leading her to the bedroom, the rose petals on the bed and candles on the dresser are exactly what she wants! The chocolate covered strawberries and Champaign waiting there for her, yeah she would love that too!! Now if you aren’t drinkers and you don’t’ do the alcohol scene, there are alcohol free drinks out there. Apple or grape juice work just as well. Get a couple goblets and have the mood set with your juice and strawberries on your “bed or roses”, your candle light and soft music playing in the back ground. You sitting there waiting there for her, she will be yours! I know, I know it sounds silly, but it is what we want. It is called ROMANCE!! Now it doesn’t have to be a “bed of roses” every time you want to get lucky, in fact sex in the heat of the moment can be just as fun, just not every time. When your gale tell you to get creative, give her a massage and don’t be scared to make it “X” rated. Do you anything you can to make her feel wanted, beautiful, happy. Again the happier she is, the happier you will be!
4. It isn’t hard to make her happy, just find out what she likes, what she wants. Talk to her, ask her how her day was, listen to her and don’t try to solve all her problems for her. Just listen. She wants you to love her and to make her feel wanted. That’s all. So go get your girl, turn on a movie and start taking notes! With time, every man out there could be a Casanova!
