What does it take to break out of a job-income situation? The steps below will help you start to think differently, and find your own power to generate income.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Step1
Find what you enjoy doing. Many people want something they can just take hold of and earn income within 5 minutes. A better alternative is to put your valuable energy into what you love and find a way to monetize it.
Step2
Think small and then big. Don't go out setting huge goals and overwhelm yourself. Set small goals, maybe $2 a week and expand from there. Keep faith and persistence, even a red wood tree grows from a sapling.
Step3
Try and then think, especially if you risk little to nothing by trying. Too often in life we let negativity crush our best ideas before they get started. It is a fact that the hit song "Over the Rainbow" was nearly dropped from Wizard of Oz movie.
Step4
Defend capital. Capital is your start up money and resources. The more of this you have and can keep, the more things you can try. Don't think you have to spend money to make money. Put your creative energies in lowering costs and raising profits.
Step5
Don't get discouraged. If you are wondering when your big idea will hit you, don't worry, it will show up. The main thing is just to start with one thing. Selling items on ebay, or craigs list. Once you start getting income from one extra source the world will open up and you will start finding you can create income everywhere. Now start!
