Things You'll Need:
- shelves or
- plate racks or
- a small Christmas tree
-
Step 1
The first thought is to line up the baskets on a shelf. A narrow shelf works best for this or place the baskets in front of books on a bookshelf.
-
Step 2
Look for plate racks designed to hold multiple plates on a wall. The baskets look great dangling from the plate support arms. A plain, not wall-papered wall, makes a good background for this kind of display.
-
Step 3
At Christmas time, get a 3-foot artificial, pre-lighted Christmas tree. These are quite inexpensive at the after-Christmas sales at discount stores like Wal-Mart. Arrange your baskets on the tree, slipping the handles over the branches or using ornament hangers for the tiniest baskets. This size tree folds compactly for storage.
-
Step 4
If you have a glass-front cabinet, display the baskets inside to show them off without having continuous dusting to do.
-
Step 5
A typecase makes a good basket display unit if it is deep enough. You can alternate the baskets with other tiny treasures for an eclectic look.
