How to Make Homemade Bath Salts
Bath salts are perfect for adding luxury and fragrance to everyday baths. While the versions sold in stores are often quite expensive, making bath salts at home is simple and requires only a few ingredients, such as salt and essential oils. Things You'll Need
- Sea or Epsom salt
- Measuring cup
- Mixing bowl
- Glycerin (optional)
- Essential oils
- Dried plants (optional)
- Wooden spoon
- Jar with lid

Pour 1 cup of Epsom salt and 1/4 cup of sea salt into a mixing bowl.

Add 2 drops of glycerin, which moisturizes the skin, to the salt mixture.

Fragrance your bath salts with several drops of essential oil. Increase the amount of essential oil until the fragrance is as strong as you desire.

Add a small amount of dried herbs, such as lavender.

Use a wooden spoon to stir the mixture until the ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Pour the bath salts into a jar, or container, with a secure lid.
