How to Deposit at Poker Stars

Poker Stars bills themselves as being the world's largest online poker community. Most anyone who has watched poker on television has seen the ads for Poker Stars, where they encourage anyone to log on and play for free as a way of practicing the game. While it's true that there are an infinite number of free poker games at Poker Stars, it is also true that you can deposit money into your account, allowing you to play for real money. Here's how to deposit at Poker Stars.

• Computer with Poker Stars installed
• Credit card or eWallet account at a supported site.

1. 
   Log in to your Poker Stars account

   Open the Poker Stars software and click the "Log In" button. If this is your first time to visit Poker Stars, you will need to register an account, which is a five-minute process. If you already have an account at Poker Stars, simply enter your username and password to log in.

   Go to the Cashier

   Go to the Cashier, which is where all of your deposits, withdrawals and other finances are managed. There are three ways to get to the Cashier. You can click the "Cashier" button on the bottom left portion of the screen; you can click the "Lobby" link at the top of the screen and then select Cashier or you can click the "Cashier" link at the top of the screen.

   Click the button to Buy Chips

   Click on the "Buy Chips" button to go to the deposit menu when you are on the main Cashier screen.

   Click the Deposit button

   Decide which method you would like to use for adding funds to your account. The options available to you are credit cards, e-check, bank transfer, money order or an ePassporte eWallet account. Click on the option you would like to select and then click the "Deposit" button.

5. 
   Supply the necessary information

   Enter the details of your transaction, such as account number, expiration date, billing address and the amount of your deposit. Fill out the required information on the form and click "Submit." Once the form is submitted, the funds will be available in your account to play with.
