How to Stay Strong as a Christian Woman
Sometimes I feel pulled from every direction of life, don't you? Most of us want to be happy, to be liked. We want to please our family, please our friends, please God and ourselves. I've come to realize I will never always please everyone, including myself. And that's ok...cause life is really a journey not a one time event.
"You, Lord, give perfect peace to those who keep their purpose firm and put their trust in you." (Isaiah 26:3 TEV)
Let me share important points that have helped me.
Things You'll Need
- A Church - someplace to call home and to grow in your faith
- The Bible - your Guidebook - Got to have instructions
- Mentor/Christian Girlfriend - Everyone needs to be accepted and accountable
Instructions

1
Pray daily- an absolute must, not just once a day, but all day
God wants a relationship with us, not a laundry list, or call me only when you're in a crisis -
2
Integrity - without it, you can't even trust yourself and neither will others
-
-
3
A Plan - Write it down and make it plain. Personal goal and daily goals are needed to know where to start and if you're getting anywhere
-
4
Transparency - there must be a willingness to be real with others. Everyone has a story, an experience that can be used to help others facing the same issue. Plant seeds.

Tips & Warnings
Exercise - daily - I know sounds out of place but it's unbelievable how much better you'll feel and how clear things will seem
Rest - for strength, cause you can't give what you don't have. The Bible even says God rested, that's part of how we were made, so enjoy
Expect opposition, because you have an enemy (Satan) who wants to see you fail
Keep your eyes on Jesus, NOT the situation and learn to PRAISE in the middle of a trial. Then you can't help but focus on Him.

One of the many things that helps me is to think of the people in bible history that had problems far worse than me and know that God did not forget them. Tho it may seem at times we have too many burdens, No temptation has taken you except what is common to men. But God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but along with the temptation he will also make the way out in order for you to be able to endure it.
