Oatmeal has long been used as a homeopathic remedy for dry and irritated skin. Many commercial lotions and skin care products use oatmeal to help moisturize skin. You too can reap the benefits. Just use oatmeal, honey and plain yogurt to make this easy, refreshing mask. Try making this moisturizing facial mask to use when your face needs revitalizing. It uses only natural ingredients, and leaves your skin feeling soft and looking great. Only make enough for one application, since it doesn’t store well. Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Half cup of plain uncooked oatmeal
  • 2 tbsp. plain yogurt
  • 2 tsp. honey
  1. Step 1

    Process the oatmeal in a blender or small food processor until it resembles a coarse powder.

  2. Step 2

    Mix the oatmeal, yogurt, and honey together in a small bowl. Microwave 10 to 15 seconds or until just slightly warm.

  3. Step 3

    Spread on your freshly washed face using your finger tips.

  4. Step 4

    Allow the moisturizing mask to sit on your face for 5 to 6 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.

Tips & Warnings
  • If your face is really dry, try using an exfoliating scrub before applying the mask.
