Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Things You’ll Need:
- Tickets to a Rave
- CDs of Techno music
- Rave accessories such as flourescent jewlery and pacifers
- Cds of Jungle and House music
Step1
Techno music has always been synomynous for the cubs of dancing hard and showing off your new moves swuch as the Cabbage Patch.... With beats that always included- "dince, dince- DANCE!" There was some wild dancing to techno even including Breakdancing....
Step2
Then came the hallucinations to set off the music and sharp dance moves... Drugs like Ecstacy popped up on the scene and was supposed to promote your hormones to raise sky high....
Step3
Visuals in the Raves were Blacklights bouncing off of flourescent jewlery such as glow-in-the-dark plastic necklaces and rings... Dancing with these accessories promoted hallucinations where the kids would have an uncontrollable urge to chew and they sometimes would bring pacifiers to the Raves to chew on....
Step4
The beginning star techno artist that really broke thru to the Raves was Moby... He went on to a mainstream career of very beautoful music... and some other Techno artists that are notable would be - Rabbit in the Moon... I had tickets to Rabbit for my very first rave but I ended up just giving my tickets away...My friends at the time were big Ravers but at that time I was coming out of a bout with Indie Rock...
Step5
Two other styles of Techno Music that broke thru that are very worthy to note down are Drum 'N' Bass & Jungle Music.... These two styles and had a good deep bass sounds to them.... Where Jungle music was almost like evolved Regge music.... You should at least have a Compilation of Rave music that includes these styles of music....
