Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Skateboard
  • Time
  • Patience
  • Practice
  1. Step 1

To do the Varial Heelflip rotate the board frontside. Don’t rotate it backside, be sure it is frontside.

  2. Step 2

This step is a little difficult. You want to place your back foot in a position as if you were about to do a frontside shove it and have your front flip placed as if you are about to do a heelflip. Practice this positioning a bit until you are comfortable with it.

  3. Step 3

At this point you need to pop the same as you would with a frontside shove it. But, when the board begins to rotate you will need to take your front foot to the heelflip.

  4. Step 4

At this point you need to pop the same as you would with a frontside shove it. But, when the board begins to rotate you will need to take your front foot to the heelflip.

  5. Step 5

Now, make sure you keep your feet up high so that the board can spin under you.

  6. Step 6

Complete the trick by landing and you will have mastered the Varial Heelflip!
