I am a Chef by trade. This is the best Pizza Dough! I used this recipe to make one of the best tasting Pizza Doughs. You can use this for home or restaurant cooking. Enjoy

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Plastic bowl, Water, Red Star Yeast, Sugar and Salt, food thermometer and olive oil.
  1. Step 1

Take a plastic bowl and measure out 15 pounds of water, If this is for the home measure about 6 cups of water. Heat water to about 110 degrees F.

  2. Step 2

Measure 3 oz Yeast, 4 oz Sugar-Mix together
Add 1/4 cup of olive oil to the water-stir. Add your Yeast/Sugar Mix to water. Wait and watch it rise for about 15 min, or until it smells like green apples. Add 6 oz of table salt to your flour

  3. Step 3

Add to 25 pounds of flour. For home use add 3 cups of flour. You might want to add more or less flour if its to wet or dry for the home cook.
Mix in a Hobart or a Home mixer or by hand..after you take the dough out of the mixer, cut it and ball it up.. Let is rest for at least 3 hours before you use the dough for pizza. Enjoy

Tips & Warnings
  • You may also add Honey instead of sugar to give the dough a totally different flavor! You can also make breadsticks or anything your heart desires.
