How to Make Fairy Earth Bath Salts

With all of the concern about harsh chemicals, toxic substances, and carcinogens, there has to be a way to have a fear free beauty regime. The solution ? Make your own bath and beauty products! One of the easiest things to make are bath salts. Here's a recipe for Fairy Earth Bath Salts.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

• 1/2 cup epsom salts
• 1 cup baking soda
• 1/2 cup rock salt
• 1/2 tsp. vitamin E
• 2 tsp. light oil (almond, sunflower, etc...)
• 20 drops Patchouli essential oil
• 15 drops Cypress essential oil
• 5 drops Vetivert essential oil
• Green food coloring

1. Mix all salts and baking soda together.
2. Combine oil, essential oils, vitamin E and a few drops of coloring in a separate bowl.
3. Add liquid to salts and mix thoroughly.
4. To use, add a few heaping tablespoons to bath water.

Tips & Warnings

• Go light on the food coloring otherwise it will look artificial and not fairy-like at all.
• Make sure you are not allergic to any of the ingredients. Be careful not to make direct contact with the essential oils as they can cause skin irritation if used full strength.
