Things You'll Need:
- 1 cup of jasmine rice
- 3 cups of water
- 1/2 cup of sliced chicken meat
- 1 tbsp. of ginger, finely chopped
- 2 tsbp. of Thai fish sauce
- 1 tbsp. of chopped green onion
- 1 tbsp. of chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups of hot chicken broth
- Deep cooking pot

Step 1
Wash rice while 3 cups of water are heating on the stove. Add rice to pot.

Cook rice on low for 45 minutes to an hour, or until rice is soft enough for your taste.

Add hot chicken broth to rice mixture.

Add chicken pieces.

Add fish sauce.

When preparing to serve, break two eggs into serving bowl or dish. You may want to give each guest one egg--in this case, simply break the egg in each individual bowl.)

Put rice soup gently on top of eggs. The heat from the soup will cook the eggs.

Garnish with ginger, green onions and cilantro.

Serve immediately.
