How to Weave Yarn Tails Into Your Finished Work

Now that you've finished your knitted project, you're probably left with many pieces of yarn from the pieces. Of course, you can't just snip this off--otherwise your work will unravel. Weaving the ends in is the way to go. Read on to learn how to weave yarn tails into your finished word.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Finished knitted work with tails
  • Tapestry needle
Step1
Thread the tapestry needle with the extra yarn. You should have about 6 inches to work with.
Step2
Turn around so the you're looking at the wrong (back) side.
Step3
Weave the yarn into the back of the stitches evenly. This can be done on one row or if you can opt to work up and down.
Step4
Weave as much as you can and snip the end of the tail close to the last weaved stitch.
