How to make firefox/opera fast?

Speeds the Load of firefox!!!

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • firefox

Step1
Type "about:config" into the address bar.
Step2
Scroll down and look for some entries:
network.http.pipelining
network.http.proxy.pipelining
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests
Step3
Alter the following entries as follows:
Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"
Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"
"network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some numbers like "8"
Step4
Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0". This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it recieves.

Tips & Warnings

  • This is very easy.
  • IF YOU HAVE MISTAKES IT WILL DEGRADE YOUR SPEED!!
