When I was pregnant with my twins, I would get a sonogram every other week to see how they were positioned in my womb. Because of my age, past 30, and that I was carrying twins, I was a labeled a 'high risk" pregnancy. Well, when I came home from getting sonogram photos, I would email them to my family and friends to see how the twins were growing. Here is how I sent email sonogram photos of our twins.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Baby or Twins in Womb
  • Sonogram Appointment
  • Digital Camera
  • Computer
  • Internet Access
  • Email Account
  • Photo Album

Preserving Sonogram Photos

Step1
Twin A Photo Once home from your sonogram appointment, the best way to show off the sonogram photos to your family and friends is taking digital photos, not placing them on a copy machine.
Step2
Twin B Photo The lady who did my sonogram said it is not a good idea to place a sonogram photo on a copy machine. With a digital photo of your sonogram, there is less of a chance the sonogram will be destroyed or change color.
Step3
File Folder of Photos Now that you have taken digital photos of all your baby sonogram photos, you can now move the photos from your digital camera to your computer. This is what the sonogram photos look like in a folder on your computer.
Step4
Emailinig Sonogram Photos With a file folder created, you can now resize each sonogram digital image and prepare to send the photos to your family and friends via email.
Step5
My Photo Album of Twin A and Twin B Finally, another way to preserve your sonogram photos is to place them in a photo album with clear sleeves. A photo album like this can be purchased at a mass retailer or card shop. Here is what your photos will look like in a photo album.

Have fun taking digital photos of your sonogram photos and also placing them in a photo album!
Step6
Now that was easy to do and your sonogram photos did not get destroyed or change color.

Tips & Warnings

  • Every time you come home from your sonogram test, take digital photos of the sonogram images to send to your family and friends
  • NEVER, EVER, place your sonogram photos on a copy machine. They might get ruined

on 3/20/2008 darn! I totally scanned my sonograms on the printer/scanner! They still look fine, but I hope that they won't get ruined long term from that. The sonographer told me that the sonograms don't last very well, that is why I scanned them to have digital copies in case they faded out...now I may have been the reason the won't last! lol!
