Things You'll Need:
- An Election Year
- New Candidates to Vote for
- A Conscience
- A Willingness to Want Real Change
-
Step 1
Know the Status Quo: Every election season, we have a chance to fill up moving vans of current leaders in our nations capital and send them home for not passing laws we wanted passed or promised a veto on.Every year, American citizens are appalled that our government leaders, do not get the job done.
-
Step 2
Vote: The only way of removing an incumbent, in a political office, is by voting. Sometimes, we need new people in office to shake up the status quo. Although I am not really sure how to shake up the status quo because in my state of California, we have had Boxer and Feinstein in office since the creation of the world (not really).
-
Step 3
Get Active: Although voting is not a high priority on many American's plates these days, and although our votes more likely than not, do not count, it should still be our duty to vote. Otherwise, we get what we pay or others pay for.The only complainers in America should be those who have voted and given a chance for their voices to be heard.
-
Step 4
If you, the American Citizen, want change, I mean real change that will not infringe on your rights, constitutional rights I mean, it is up to you to remove all incumbents in office, right now, this election year, to make sure your constitutional rights are preserved. Our very livelihoods depend on it. It would be wonderful to see Feinstein and Boxer removed from my state. All they have done is reeve havoc and destro the American Family and our Values.
-
Step 5
Finally, if you are passionate about any issue in your city, state or national issue, it is your responsibilty to research what is going on with that issue. Did you know that many bills have other issues, not related to that bill, attached to it? The best way to learn about issues in your state, or nationally, is to listen to non secular radio shows. These are the only places that will give you the truth and information you seek.

on 11/2/2008 I agree wholeheartedly! You have a really good article here. Corruption on wall street and in government have put us at risk of losing our great nation. We the People still have the power and the freedom...let us not lose it.
