How to Create Poetry Using Online Forms

Transform your words into poetry with ease using poetry forms online. You'll amaze yourself and increase your confidence to later write free form poetry.

Things You'll Need

• a reasonable vocabulary

Instructions

1. 

   Go to ETTC's website: http://ettcweb.lr.k12.nj.us/forms/newpoem.htm

2. 

   Click around on the poetry forms offered there. Find one that appeals to you.

3. Fill in the blanks with your own words. Remember there are many different ways to say something. Why use "red" when there are exciting words like scarlet or vermillion?

4. Click on the button that says "Create my instant poem now." Admire your newly created poem.

5. After reading your poem, you might think of ways to enhance or expand it.

6. 

   Copy the poem over to your word processing or email to save it. You can add clip art to dress up your poem and try it with different fonts too.

7. Share your poem with friends and family.
