Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer with Internet access
  • Transportation
  1. Step 1

If healthy, organic food and a serene environment sound appealing to you, check out the Inn of the Seventh Ray in Topanga Canyon. Nestled in the Santa Monica Mountains, this restaurant has long been considered a romantic spot and feels like a secret hideaway. Feast on vegetarian foods and free-range meats while surrounded by lush gardens.

  2. Step 2

Dine alfresco at celebrity hot spot Koi, and enjoy sushi amidst Buddha statues on the restaurant's patio. Be sure to make reservations in advance and arrive early if possible.

  3. Step 3

If you want to eat Italian food under the stars, head to Dominick's Restaurant in West Hollywood. During the glory days of old Hollywood, Frank Sinatra was a regular here, and only "friends of friends" were allowed into this exclusive restaurant. Today, everyone is welcome to enjoy traditional Italian dishes on the covered patio.

  4. Step 4

If you are in the San Fernando Valley, don't miss the Aroma Cafe in Studio City. Hugely popular for their gourmet sandwiches and delectable desserts, this cafe often has a line out the door. It is well worth the wait to enjoy delicious food on the cafe's quaint patio. Bring a book or buy one from the adjacent bookstore, and sip coffee outside on a leisurely Sunday morning.

  5. Step 5

If you love Mexican food, eat a traditional meal creekside at Abuelitas in Topanga Canyon. This award-winning restaurant has been voted "Best Outdoor Dining in Los Angeles" by America Online and is known for its margaritas.
