How to reconnect with old friends, family and colleagues

It is easy to locate old friends, relatives and colleagues with all of the networking sites available on the internet today. I will list a few well known sites. Please leave a comment if you know of any good sites as well.

Things You'll Need:

• computer
• internet access

1. Sign up and create a profile on one or more of the social or professional networking sites listed in the tips below.

2. Search the site for people by location, colleges, businesses, high schools, etc.

3. Email the contacts that you find and/or add them to you contacts list in the corresponding account.

• www.myspace.com (social networking)
• www.facebook.com (social networking)
• www.classmates.com (networking with former high school classmates)
• www.linkedin.com (professional networking - former colleages, etc.)
• You can also search a person's name in a popular search engine like www.google.com. Try putting their name in quotation so it searches for their full name.
