Gift boxes can be made in many different ways, to make a variety to have on hand is great, you always have nice boxes that are a little different and made with love.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • boxes
  • craft glue
  • paint brush
  • fancy papers
  • paper toled flowers or silk flowers.
  1. Step 1

Seal the box by painted it with craft glue. Let Dry.
or if you would prefer to just paint the box that is ok.

  2. Step 2

At this point decide how you want to decorate the box, you can simply paint it or decoupage it with paper or torn up tissue paper. Glue paper or tissue to boxes overlapping as you go, when the box is cover completely paint three or four times with craft glue.Let Dry.

  3. Step 3

For extra decoration for the lid you can paper tole flowers, roses, carnations or my favourite violets, coat three or four times with craft glue, let dry. the flowers will dry hard ans shiny.
    or
Take silk flowers and dip them in craft glue and let dry, they will dry hard so paint them with glue a couple more times....

  4. Step 4

When everything is completely dry, put the lid on the box and attach a flower.
You have just made a beautiful original gift box...

Tips & Warnings
  • When applying the glue to the box, only give two coats of glue at the top of the box where the lid is to on so it still fits.
  • Make sure everything is dry before putting it all together....
