Most women dream of having well-toned, firm legs without a trace of varicose veins, cellulite or unwanted hair. Although genetics do play a role in the type legs we have inherited, nowadays women can shape and improve their legs with the right cosmetics and habits.

Step1
Eliminate the hair on your legs. It is the most important step to having great legs. Laser hair-removal or intense pulsed light have proven to be the most effective techniques to obtain a long term reduction. If laser is too expensive for you but you still want your legs to be hair-free, there are electric hair-removal machines that remove the hair from the root. There are also the triple blade razors that shave off the hair without damaging your skin. Look for shaving creams or gels, for they make shaving easier and less painful. They enable the epidermis to be better moisturized.
Step2
Moisturize your legs. The skin on the lower extremities of your legs is drier and thus possesses less resources to avoid dry skin. Use a moisturizing lotion every day after your shower.
Step3
Exercise 3 or 4 times a week to eliminate the accumulation of fat on the upper outer part of your thighs.

Eliminate your varicose veins. When the return circulation is slower, blood doesn't reach the heart in the right way and it remains stagnant. It is then that varicose veins appear. The most effective method to eliminate varicose veins is sclerotherapy. A solution is injected into the vein. This causes the lining of the vein to swell, stick together and seal shut. With time, the vessel turns into scar tissue and fades from view under the skin.

Get treatment for your cellulite. More than 92 percent of women around the world suffer from it. It is one of the main esthetic problems women must deal with. Once cellulite is in the skin, it is very difficult to get rid of it, but with the help of new anti-cellulite products and fat burner machines, you can reduce your cellulite to a minimum.

  • Exfoliate your legs once a week.
  • Walk daily for 45 minutes.
  • Avoid long sun exposures.
  • Massage your legs in circular motions from the bottom to the top for a few minutes everyday in cold water, after your shower.
  • Rest your legs by putting them up and supporting them by a pillow.
  • Avoid using socks, panty-hose or pants that are too tight.
  • Change your posture frequently to stimulate your blood flow.
  • Drink a lot of water.
  • Avoid gaining weight.
  • Say goodbye to a sedentary lifestyle.
  • Do not consume alcohol and tobacco.
