Beautiful skin comes from the inside out. While using the right creams and other body products is important, your diet is the key to ensuring that your beauty shines from your every pore. What you eat will affect the moisture, youthful appearance and health of your skin.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A different diet
  1. Step 1

Eat a handful of almonds everyday. Almonds contain the same levels of flavonoid antioxidants found in green tea or broccoli. They will aid in fighting the effects of aging and will protect your skin from ultraviolet rays. One handful of almonds supplies nine grams of mono-unsaturated fat and three and a half grams of polyunsaturated fat, the good fat. This protects your heart and skin cells.

  2. Step 2

Drink green tea in the afternoon. Green tea contains polyphenols, which act as an antioxidant to protect your cells from harm.

  3. Step 3

Add berries to your diet, such as strawberries, blueberries and bilberries. They all contain antioxidants. Prepare a delicious cold dessert by alternating layers of berries with low-fat yogurt. Decorate with almonds.

  4. Step 4

Eat fish. Salmon and tuna are rich in good fat and selenium. Increase your ingestion of good fat by covering the salmon with almonds or add chopped almonds to your tuna sandwich.

  5. Step 5

Drink low fat milk. It is a very good source of Vitamin A. if you don't like milk by itself, pour it over your cereal with a few almonds for a nice, crunchy taste.

Tips & Warnings
  • Prepare a homemade exfoliant combining one tablespoon of almond flour, one tablespoon of honey and one tablespoon of lime juice until you make a paste. Apply over your face once a week. It will eliminate your skin's dead cells and will give you a renewed appearance.
  • Don'r forget to eat green leafed vegetables, such as spinach. They are an excellent source of Vitamins A and C.
