Things You'll Need:
- an internet connection to order programming online, or
- a telephone to place your order over the phone
-
Step 1
First, you will need to make sure you have an HD-ready or HD compatible television set. This will ensure your TV is able to display the HD signals. If your TV is not HD-ready or HD compatible you will not be able to receive and display HD broadcasts. You can tell if your TV is able to display HD by reviewing its display resolution. If its resolution is 720 or above, you know it is HD.
-
Step 2
Second, you will need a receiver capable of receiving High Definition broadcasts. Some pay TV providers charge around $200 for this type of receiver. You can get a free HD receiver from Dish Network with DVR (Digital Video Recorder) and only pay a $5.98 monthly service fee. If your HDTV has a built-in digital tuner, you can receive your local channels in HD if they are available with an antenna.
-
Step 3
Third, you will need to subscribe to HD programming if you want to view HD channels. Subscribing to an HD package such as dishHD from Dish Network will enable you to enjoy more channels in High Definition. Dish Network HD packages start at just $10 a month.
-
Step 4
To check out Dish Network HD programming packages or to order Dish Network, visit www.AllAmericanDish.com or call toll free at 1-877-444-4388. All American Dish is a leading national Dish Network sales partner and has been providing quality satellite TV services since 1983.

on 3/11/2008 Yes, it will if it is HD-ready or HD compatible. You will also need to make sure the signals coming into your TV are HD. To get HD signals you can subscribe to HD programming through your cable or satellite tv provider. You may also be able to receive free over-the-air HD local channels if they are available in your area.
