Is your kitty lazy and bored? Does your kitty not play with his toys? Here are a few helpful tips on how to make your kitty happy.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Toys
  • small animal harness or leash
  • Toys
  • Treats
  • Kitty Shampoo
  1. Step 1

It can be hard entertaining you cat. They can become bored and lazy just like us but this is not healthy for any person or animal. So keep that cat active for just a few minutes a day. Cats need interaction with there owners to be happy.

  2. Step 2

Toys are a great way to keep cats satisfied. But cats do get bored with the same toys so the trick is to only have a few out at a time and as soon as you notice you cat is not playing with them put them away and bring out a few different toys. Rotating the toys keeps your cat interested in them. Its like they are getting new toys every week.

  3. Step 3

Have you ever thought of giving your cat a walk? If your cat is an outdoor/indoor cat then you have no need for this but for those indoor declawed cats this is great. Cats love the outdoors although it can be dangerous for them at times and make them more prone to health problems like worms. They still need a little bit of fresh air and a great snack of grass once in a while.

The first time you take you cat out for a walk whether it be in your yard or on the sidewalk it can be challenging. Your cat may never be able to be walked but that doesn't mean you cant bring him outside on a leash.

My cat loves to be on a leash and just roam the yard and lay in the grass and dig in the sand box. A friend of mine is able to walk her cat like a dog on the sidewalk. All you need to do is bring your cat outside on the leash a few times in a day or a week and he will do whatever is more enjoyable for him.

It a good idea to give your cat a bath after a good day outside.

  4. Step 4

Rewarding your cat with treats for doing good things or just being cute keeps them smiling and lets them know how much you love them. If your cat eats mainly hard food soft treats or a can of soft food is a great choice for a reward. If your cat eats mostly wet food try a hard treat mainly because a cats teeth need hard to assist them in healthy clean teeth.
