Things You’ll Need:

• Sealant
• Cleaning solution
• Insecticide spray
• Flour

1. During the spring, ants will try to travel inside a home to look for food. First you need to seal any cracks around the doors and windows to eliminate any point of entry.
2. Second, make sure you have clean floors and a clean kitchen. If you have crumbs on the floor you will attract ants. Vacuum, sweep, scrub the floor or carpet to remove food, crumbs and scent of food.
3. Third, spray insecticide around the entry points. You may have to spray your entry points more than once during the year.
4. If you have ants right now and you don't have the resources to seal, clean or spray try flour. I tried flour and it worked. I put flour in the entry point and the ant trail in my living room. The ants died and didn't come back. Then I cleaned, sealed and sprayed.
