Tell your wife about some of the great poker players. Many of these players are both fascinating and entertaining to watch. Let your wife know about these superstar poker players.

Watch poker on television with your wife. Poker tournaments can be found on numerous TV stations during the entire year. Search your local listings for when an intriguing poker tournament can be found on TV and plan to watch the event with your wife.

Take your wife with you to a poker night or have her watch you poker online. Often times, a person can learn more about a game such as poker when that person watches somebody she knows playing it. After you have finished playing, explain some of the decisions you made at the poker table and why you won or lost.

Teach your wife how to play poker. You could do this simply by using a deck of cards or by signing her up on one of the many poker websites available. Once your wife knows how to play poker she is likely to become more interested in the game.
Step5
Allow your wife to play poker by herself. Eventually, it's important that your wife begin to enjoy poker on her own. Let her play in a couple of tournaments online without helping her. This will help her to learn the intricacies of the game.
Step6
Have a poker night at your place and invite your wife to sit in. Play against your wife without helping her during the evening. The goal here is to make playing poker something that the two of you can do either together or separately without there being any problems.
