Begin by painting the room a combination of red and blue. The Pistons have had different shades of these colors throughout their existence, giving you multiple ways to paint the walls of your Pistons room.

Step2

If you paint the walls of your Pistons room in a specific team color, consider carpeting the room in the other. For example, you could paint the walls blue and then lay down red carpet or vice versa.

Step3

Place the old Pistons logo somewhere in the room. You could buy a flag that has the logo on it and fly it in your Pistons room or simply paint the logo on a wall. If you're unfamiliar with the old Pistons logo, you find it by doing a search online.

Find a framed picture of the “Bad Boy Era” and hang it somewhere in the room. During the 1980s, the Pistons were known as the “bad boys” of the NBA. The Pistons won back-to-back NBA Titles in 1989 and 1990.

Buy a Bill Laimbeer replica jersey and place it somewhere in the room. Laimbeer was a member of the “Bad Boy” Pistons and had his number retired by the Pistons. He is one of the all-time great players in Detroit history as well as a fan favorite.

Search for a replica championship banner and hang it in the room. These banners can be found online and can almost always be updated. This could be useful if the Pistons win another NBA Title.
