How to Attend Your Wife's Family Reunion

Many family reunions are difficult to attend. Going to your wife's family reunion can be an unpleasant experience. Here is how to attend your wife's family reunion.

1. Before you get to the reunion, be sure to know who will be there. Chances are plenty of people will be coming up to talk to you and your wife during the reunion. While you probably won't know everybody there, it's important to at least be familiar with those will want to have a conversation with the both of you during the reunion.
2. Ask your wife if there are any important family traditions that take place during the reunion. Many families will have a traditional song or games at reunions. You should be at least knowledgeable about these before attending the reunion.
3. Try to be with or near your wife throughout the reunion. If somebody in the family has never met you before, this will make it easier for your wife to introduce you to that member of the family. Being near your wife will also prove helpful if you forget the name of a family member at the reunion.
4. Search for friendly and familiar faces at the reunion. You're bound to know at least a few of the people attending the reunion. Try to spend as much time as possible with those individuals during the day.
5. Be willing to talk to those people that you don't know at the reunion. You're guaranteed to bump into at least a few people that you either don't know or can't remember at a reunion. Be sure to interact with these people. Your wife will appreciate it.
6. Spend as much time at the reunion as your wife wishes. Remember that it is your wife's family reunion. Even if you may not be enjoying yourself, you should sacrifice the day for your wife and her plans.
