Uses Of The paper Clip:
The paper clip is designed to hold papers together. It allows you to put similar papers, (such as an essay) together to prevent loss of a page or pages. The design of the paper clip allows removal of the pages for ease of reading and leaves the paper undamaged.
Other uses of the paper clip you may find useful are:
Replacing a zipper pull on a jacket, as a hair clip, to temporarily hold a pant cuff that has come un-hemmed, and as a Calder pin when one is not available (this takes some modification from the original design).
There are probably hundreds of other uses that you will encounter as you use the paper clip to simplify your life.
