Step 1
Wash the outside of the grapefruit extensively.

Place on a cutting board with the two semi-flat ends facing out.

In one clean motion, cut the grapefruit in half, thus displaying the inside "triangles."

Like oranges, grapefruits have seeds and have small triangle-shaped divisions. Remove the seeds with a serrated knife and then cut along each line of each triangle.

After cutting along the lines of each triangle, cut along the outer edges of the grapefruit around the entire circle where the meat meets the grapefruit's fleshy shell.

Place cut grapefruit in a bowl, add some powered sugar to the top, and use a spoon to scoop out each deliciously nutritious triangle.
