This past month was downer for me. I lost my son to a gun shot to the neck (jugular vein) last year February 27, 2007 and I have really been depressed. Yes, I pray. However, there are times when I did not want to be alone. After getting off work the morning of February 27, 2008 I did not want to go directly home. I decided that I would just drive. I had the radio on blasting and my thoughts were, I’ll never be a grandmother. Why did this have to happen, and during this particular time I happen to look up in the rear view mirror and saw a patrol car. Since I was in the passing lane and it seems as if he was in bit of a hurry, I changed lanes. When I did that, I saw the patrol car lights go on. I pulled to the side of the road and at the same time I said “God please, do not let him give me a ticket. He walked up to the passenger side of the window and asked for my license and insurance card. I gave it to him. He asked, “Do you know how fast you were traveling?” I responded, “No.” He said, “I would have clocked you but the truck got in my way.” “The speed limit is 60mph. Do you promise me you will slow it down?” I responded, “Yes.” I was on my way. I said thank you God. God heard my prayer and answered it right away! Although, I was down in my spirit—God is still right there. I thank Him! Prayer changes people and people changes things.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • A personal relationship with the creator.

Step1
Establish a personal relationship with your creator
Step2
Listen to the voice of your creator and obey
Step3
Ask, and ye shall receive. Seek, and ye shall find. Knock, and the door will be open

Tips & Warnings

  • Establishing a relationship with your creator is almost like having a relationship with your parents. You are taught right and wrong from your parents and you are expected to obey. Your creator want obedience also.
  • If you disobey your parents you may get punish --the car may be off limits for a couple of weeks--your cell phone may be off limits for two days. However, when you disobey your creator this is more detrimental. You would rather be punish by your parents than by your creator.
