How to Host a Wine and Cheesy Sweater Party

Things You’ll Need:

• The cheesiest holiday-themed sweater you can find
• A few extra sweaters for guests
• Food, especially several varieties of cheese
• Wine
• Camera

1. In the invitation, be specific that you would like your guests to show up at the party in a cheesy holiday sweater. Use pictures in the invitation if you have them. Otherwise, find clip art or photos of cheesy sweaters online for use without copyrights.
2. Have lots of wine and cheese available for the guests, since the name of the party implies these items will be available. Have other munchies, too. Since you are serving alcohol, you definitely want everyone to eat.
3. Wear a cheesy (read: ugly) sweater. As the host, the guests will expect you to be decked out in your cheesiest attire.
4. Have extra sweaters on hand for guests who didn’t get around to finding one. You can find lots of cheesy holiday sweaters at thrift stores for just a few dollars each.
5. Take lots of pictures. You will not want to forget these outfits, and neither will your guests.
