A wine tasting bike tour in Napa Valley will allow you to experience the full physical beauty of the valley as you sample its most famous export.

      Make sure you are in good physical shape. Napa Valley is reasonably flat but you will need the stamina to ride 10 to 20 miles a day during your tour.

      Decide how much time you have. Great trips can be planned whether you have a day or a week.

      If it is your first visit the easiest way to arrange a trip is by using a bike tour agency. Gataway Adventures has some great trip options, so check out their website (see Resources below). They provide all your cycling gear and lunch each day.

      Make sure you bring sunscreen, bug spray, a camera and a good wide-brimmed hat.
