If you want to impress your future employers and get that all important job, then please read on. Here are some tips on how to achieve this:- 1. Always prepare well in advance before the day of the interview i.e what you are going to wear, the time and place of the interview and with whom, having an understanding and knowledge of the job and the company. 2. On the day of the interview, make sure you leave plenty of time to get to the interview on time, say 20 minutes earlier than arranged. 3. Always be clean and tidy, smell nice, dress smart in accordance to the role you have applied for. It is important to look the part. 4. When you are being interviewed, smile, be positive in your attitude, listen to questions carefully, think before you respond to any questions or say anything, do not interrupt your interviewer when they are speaking, establish eye contact at all times, always ask questions about the role, the company, the people or person you will be working for - it shows you are keen and enthusiastic, never broach the subject of money first, unless you have been asked. 5. NEVER not in any circumstances must you slate your current employers or job, no matter how much you hate one or both of them. If you are asked at the interview why you are thinking of leaving your current employment, just say something like - "I am looking for new challenges, more money, relocating, would like flexible hours, etc. You can say anything but "I hate my boss and job". It creates a bad impression of you, and that is not the impression you want to give a future employer. 6. Remember always have a positive attitude at interviews at all times. If you follow these simple rules, an employer would not have a choice but to offer you that JOB.
