Things You'll Need:
- Photoshop
- Few minutes of your time
-
Step 1
Type out your desired text.
-
Step 2
Right click your text layer, and duplicate it. Change the color of this new text layer to whatever you desire.
-
Step 3
Right click the new text layer, and select Convert to Shape. This is a key step, as it will enable you to easily change and modify the text later on.
-
Step 4
Next, click the selection tool, and drag it from the upper left corner to the bottom right corner. (Basically, select the ENTIRE thing of text)
-
Step 5
Your text will now look like this, if you selected everything correctly.
-
Step 6
While the text is still selected, hold down the Alt key and press the Down and Right arrow keys alternately. This duplicates the selected text, all the while keeping it in the same layer. Your text will look a bit ugly, as in the image, but just wait one more second.
-
Step 7
Deselect your layer. It will look similar to this.
-
Step 8
Select the original text layer, and drag it to a position above the "blocky text" that you just created. Now, it looks MUCH better!
-
Step 9
You can change the colors of your two layers now to whatever you so desire, if your original colors don't strike your fancy. I changed mine to a purple scheme as an example.
