How to make Chocolate Matzo Layer Cake

My mom made this for the family for years ... my kids expect it now every year !!

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

• 6 egg matzo
• 1/2 c. wine
• 1/2 lb. margarine
• 1 lb. conf. sugar
• 1 egg yolk
• 3 T. cocoa
• 2 T. rum or liquor

1. Soak the 6 egg matzo in the 1/2 cup of wine.
2. Cream together margarine, sugar, egg yolk, cocoa and liquor.
3. Alternate one layer of matzo and one layer of cream till all the matzo is used. Cover top and sides with cream. Refrigerate

Tips & Warnings

• Make sure all the lines of the matzo are in the same direction.
