Dog obedience classes are great for your dog if they are not well behaved. Here's how to determine which dog obedience classes are right for your dog.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Check out different programs. There are a number of different dog obedience classes in your community or area. Check out and compare different ones.

  2. Step 2

Learn more about each program. When comparing programs for your dog it is important that you learn in depth about each one. This can be done by asking questions pertaining to what your dog will learn and what you can expect.

  3. Step 3

Find out how many dogs are in the class. If you have a very unruly animal it is important that you provide it with a small obedience class since this will provide you with more one-on-one attention.

  4. Step 4

Remember you can always move up. It is important that you remember that you and your dog can always advance into higher obedience classes. Even if you are afraid that the basic class will be too easy for your dog it is still a good place to begin.
