If you're on a diet or attempting to eat right or healthier, try this easy meal! My fiance and family LOVES it! It's great for the kids too!

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Low Sodium Teriyaki Sauce/marinade
  • Microwave steam bag veggies
  • a deep style sauce pan
  • knife
  • bowl

Step1
make sure chicken is defrosted, or set it out to defrost and soak it in the low sodium teriyaki sauce.
Step2
once chicken is defrosted, pour it in a pan with a bit of teriyaki sauce, or no sauce to cook.
Step3
Once chicken is cooked, put the microwave steam veggies in the microwave. Usually the bag is about $3.00 and it's in the freezer section and I takes 5-6 minutes to steam, all you do is stuck the bag in the microwave.
Step4
While the vegetables are steaming, take out chicken and cut it in to bite sized pieces.
Step5
Put cut up chicken back in the pan and put a bit of Teriyaki sauce on the chicken and stir it.
Step6
once vegetables are done, add them to the pan with the chicken and add a bit more teriyaki sauce to taste (some people like a lot, some only on the chicken, you decide what you like).
Step7
Serve it!

Tips & Warnings

  • I usually use two chicken breasts to one pack of vegetables.
  • You can serve it over minute wheat rice or any other brand wheat rice for a quick and easy meal!
  • Make sure your chicken is cooked long enough!
